Born and raised in Philadelphia, Angie Wells returns for her first hometown performance! Angie’s most recent project “Truth Be Told”, produced by legendary bassist and bandleader John Clayton received a 2023 NAACP Image Award Nomination for “Outstanding Jazz Album”, rose to #15 on the jazz radio chart and plays internationally on SIRIUS XM’s Real Jazz and Siriusly Sinatra stations. She and her band were also invited for a live, in studio guest performance on Mark Ruffin’s Sirius XM’s Real Jam Session. The album received multiple rave reviews and the resulting Summer 2024 European tour had multiple sold out dates.
